Medication Costs

We provide prescriptions and medication needs to be purchased from community pharmacies - this is an additional expense which can be significant.

We will work with you to find the most cost-effective form of medication. We don't have any control over the pricing of private prescriptions but we have developed good working relationships with a number of local pharmacies.

We are committed to working with NHS GPs to ease your transition into formal shared care arrangements with your GP. As part of this they see you annually for a general review with monitoring physical observations and they provide NHS prescriptions. We will work hard to support your acceptance into a shared care agreement it is your GP who decides whether this is possible or not.
